The sensitisation workshop, held at the college premises, was anchored by the College Public Relations Officer, Miss Temilola Mercy Ajide. The event saw a strong showing from the college’s leadership, including the Acting Provost and College Librarian, Dr Abdulmumin Isah, who provided the opening remarks, as well as the Registrar, Dr Khadijah Wuraola Garba, and the Bursar, Mrs Mofoluso Olutayo-David. Throughout the session, the management team emphasised the institution’s commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity and administrative excellence in public service.

While the State Coordinator led the core training session, the Deputy State Director, Mrs Olotu Faith, conducted a practical, step-by-step demonstration on how to accurately fill out the asset declaration form. Accompanied by Schedule Officer Mr Ajayi Kolawole and Head of ICT Mr Ojo Olufemi, the Bureau’s representatives guided participants through the intricacies of avoiding conflicts of interest and the legal obligation to declare holdings every four years. In his remarks, the Ag. Provost, Dr Abdulmumin Isah, lauded the Bureau for its role in preventing malpractice through education, noting that FCE Ilawe-Ekiti must be built on a foundation of ethical conduct.

The programme concluded with an appreciative closing remark from the Registrar, Dr Khadijah Wuraola Garba, who thanked the facilitators for their thoroughness. The session ended with an engaging question-and-answer segment, where staff members sought clarification on various aspects of the declaration process and digital verification, ensuring everyone left better equipped to navigate their professional responsibilities with transparency and confidence.
