FCE, Ilawe-Ekiti Trains Staff on E-DON Sim PRO Interactive 3D Learning System

The Federal College of Education (FCE), Ilawe-Ekiti, held an intensive e-training session on the introduction and development of E-DON Sim PRO. The training, which took place at the College ICT, was aimed at equipping both staff and students with practical skills in the use of the interactive board integrated with the E-DON 3D simulation software. The innovative platform allows users to engage with and visualize 3D models, thereby deepening understanding of complex concepts through immersive and interactive learning experiences.

The session attracted key stakeholders within the College community, including the Acting Provost, the Bursar, Deans and Directors, Heads of Departments, ICT personnel, and members of the Public Relations Unit. In his opening remarks, the Acting Provost, Dr. Abdulmumin Isah, emphasized the importance of full participation, urging attendees to ensure the knowledge gained is effectively transferred to other members of staff. He also reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to adopting innovative digital tools that promote modern, future-ready teaching and learning.

During the training, the facilitator delivered a detailed presentation on E-DON Sim PRO, outlining its development, key features, and relevance to contemporary education. The software was presented as an advanced digital platform designed to strengthen teaching and learning in Nigerian Colleges of Education through interactive, realistic, and immersive environments. Participants were guided through practical areas such as the use of 3D simulation tools in education, hands-on navigation of the 98-inch interactive QR board, content customization and expansion opportunities, and the broader impact of artificial intelligence in shaping smart classrooms.
