Dr Adebayo Adesoji Adeokin
Lecturer, (History) School of Languages, Arts and Social Sciences
Dr Adebayo Adesoji Adeokin is a historian and academic with scholarly interests in political history, international relations, and peace and conflict studies. He holds a PhD in History and International Studies and has contributed to research and academic discourse in areas relating to governance, political development, and foreign policy in Africa.
Dr Adeokin is currently a lecturer in the Department of History, School of Languages, Arts and Social Sciences at the Federal College of Education, Ilawe-Ekiti. He is committed to teaching, mentoring students, and advancing research that addresses contemporary socio-political issues in Nigeria and Africa.
Beyond academia, he has been actively involved in public service, policy engagement, and community development initiatives. His works focus on historical analysis of governance structures, political participation, and peacekeeping efforts, particularly in relation to Nigeria’s role in regional and global affairs.
