The Federal College of Education Ilawe-Ekiti aims at being world class Institution for the pursuit of academic excellence through teaching, learning and research.

The Law establishing the Federal College of Education, Ilawe-Ekiti has defined the following objectives to guide the attainment of the vision and mission for which the College was established.

The objectives are:

Production of well-motivated teachers with high personal and professional discipline, integrity and competence for all the levels of the educational system;

Preparation of teachers with appreciable expertise in curriculum planning, development and delivery, as well as competence in child psychology, assessment of learning outcomes, research, guidance and counseling;
