My professional biography started in 2008 when I was invited to join the faculty of ECWA Theological Seminary, Igbaja, which is an affiliate of the Nigerian Premier University, University of Ibadan. I was employed as a graduate assistant to the department of Christian Religious Studies that is affiliated to the University of Ibadan. My quest for personal development led to the pursuit of Master Degree in Religious Studies at University of Ibadan which I completed in 2011.
With direct proceed to PhD grade, I started my PhD degree in 2014 and completed it in 2018. My academic qualifications helped my professional career as it propelled me to teach and facilitate many of the University of Ibadan Degree and Diploma courses such as Introduction to the study of religions, research methodology in Religious Studies, Pentateuch, Hebrew Grammar and Syntax, Ancient Prophets in Israel, Theology of the Old Testament, etc. I rose to the post of Head of Department of Christian Religious Studies in 2016 and served in that capacity till 2022.

I also served as a member of University of Ibadan Distance Learning examination committee between 2017-2023. I served as Dean of Graduate School of ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja between 2020-2023. I had served as Examination officer, Curriculum Review committee member and Secretary for ETSI Journal between 2015-2017. As Head of Department for Christian Religious Studies, I hosted National University Commissions (NUC) various accreditation, re-accreditation and monitoring visits between 2016-2022. My professional engagements have given me some exposures in the area of religious studies through supervision of many B.A., M.A. and Doctor of Ministry projects. I have been members of some academic bodies that have widened my professional exposure. I am a member of Nigerian Association for Biblical Studies (NABIS), Member of African Society for the Study of Sociology and Ethics of Religion (ASSOSER) and National Association for the Study of Religions. I had attended academic conferences and I have sixteen (16) publications in reputable books, journals and magazines. I disengaged from the service of ECWA Theological Seminary Igbaja in December, 2024.
I am privileged to be one of the pioneering faculty members of Federal College of education, Ilawe-Ekiti in 2025. Upon being given employment in March 2025 and consequent to my appointment as the acting Dean of Schools of Languages, Arts and Social Sciences, I have been involved in some tasks that have required my professionalism. I had served briefly as the Chairman of Students’ Disciplinary Committee, and still a member of the newly reconstituted committee, Chairman of Christian Religious Programme, members of FCE Ilawe-Ekiti Academic Board, member of Institutional Based Research (IBR) committee, etc. More importantly, the opportunity to impart students academically has given me immeasurable joy professionally and I promise to continue to use the grace that God has given me to contribute positively to the growth and progress of Federal College of Education, Ilawe-Ekiti.
