All arrangements have been concluded for the 2025/2026 Matriculation Ceremony of the Federal College of Education, Ilawe-Ekiti, for newly admitted students into the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) I Programme.
The ceremony, scheduled to hold on Thursday, 18th June, 2026, marks the formal induction of the students into the academic community and signifies the beginning of their journey towards academic excellence and the attainment of laurels.
The Acting Provost of the College, Dr. Abdulmumin Isah, will deliver an address to the matriculating students, while the Registrar, Dr. Khadijah Wuraola Garba, will administer the matriculation oath. The event promises to be colourful and memorable.
The newly admitted NCE I students have been enrolled into various academic units of the College, comprising six departments under three Schools: the School of Education, Early Childhood Care and Primary Education; the School of Languages, Arts and Social Sciences; and the School of Sciences, Vocational and Technical Education.
In addition, the College operates specialized Directorates that enhance the practical training and overall academic development of students.
All matriculating students and their guests are expected to be seated at the College Auditorium by 9:00 a.m. prompt for the ceremony.
